Who I Am

I view change as opportunity instead of threat. I have a natural orientation to the future and the opportunities it offers. This disposition often helps me drive change and innovation that improves the organization and its processes.

I have many technical and analytical traits, but I also have many that are related to people and relationship.

This mix of the analytical and relational is a uniqueness of mine.  Another is my tendency to see opportunities instead of problems. These things along with a systems way of thinking give me a unique perspective, which I’ve found invaluable in leading and solving problems.  I’ve also learned to depend on these things for navigating and facilitating change.

I typically apply my analytical skills to understanding processes and data, whereas I apply my relational skills to understanding organizations, developing teams, and facilitating.

I prefer simple, practical, and easy to implement solutions. However, it doesn’t always work out that way.  Finally, these are a few of the things I spend time thinking about:

  • Hidden implications of technology
  • Personal and professional growth
  • Behavior change and motivation
  • Balancing work and life
